Off-Shift – Monday to Thursday
Pay Range: $20.00 – $25.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits
Growing Youngstown, Ohio area Manufacturing Company seeks experienced CNC Lathe Operator who is able to Set-Up and Operate Horizontal and Vertical CNC Lathes Machines. Candidates are must be experienced in turning, drilling, boring, facing, threading and grinding.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma, GED, CNC Machinist Training Certificate / Diploma with a minimum of (4) years of hands-on experience setting-up and operating vertical and horizontal CNC Lathes.
- Read and understand blueprints technical drawings and blueprints, able to hold machining tolerances to .001”
- Able to utilize measuring tools: tape measure, micrometers, and calipers
- Calculate using fractions and decimals
- Experienced with a 4 jaw chuck set-up is preferred
- SET-UP & Operate CNC Lathes, able to identify speeds and feeds for different alloys.
- Ability to use Conversational Programming
- Capable of selecting the correct Cutting Tools
- Familiar with cutting tools, applications and uses; and other tools associated with CNC
- Lath equipment and machining work.

Process Engineer – Casting / Metallurgy – Youngstown, Ohio – JOB 25-01652
Salary Range: $120k – $140k Permanent Position with Benefits
Growing Youngstown, Ohio area Manufacturing Firm seeks an experienced Process Engineer who is the subject matter expert capable of leading continuous improvement processes and managing casting and metallurgical initiatives that support operations, manufacturing, and product development.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree Engineering or Metallurgy
- Experience in a management or leadership role
- Hands-on shop floor experience with Casting
- Knowledgeable with casting process variables and defect mechanisms.
- Background in materials, mechanical engineering or metallurgy.
- Familiar with thermal modeling, melt shop operations, and inlay bonding.
- Implement plans to improve product quality and consistency.
- Lead product development initiatives, including new inlay/matrix
- Experienced using: DOE, 5 Whys, FMEA, and Lean / Six Sigma to drive improvements.
- Develop and report metrics using: SPC, SQC, and Lean methodologies.
- Participate in Specific Product Design (SPD) processes to meet customer expectations.
- Oversee bimetallic casting activities including product recipes, testing, NDE, and subcontracted processes.
- Optimize casting process variables such as heat-up time, spin rate/G-forces, mold preheat, melt quality, and inlay bonding.
- Align product and testing priorities with furnace production schedules.
- Review test results for compliance with specifications.
- Lead defect reduction initiatives targeting porosity, lumpiness, and cracking.
- Maximize casting material utilization while maintaining product integrity.
- Monitor furnace performance and coordinate maintenance and upgrades.
- Utilize thermal modeling and simulation techniques to optimize casting processes.
- Ensure compliance with quality systems and procedures.

CNC Machinist (2nd Shift) – Youngstown, Ohio – JOB 25-01627
Salary Range: $25.00 – $40.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits.
Youngstown, Ohio manufacturer is seeking to hire an experienced Flex Shift – CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC Horizontal and Vertical Mills and Machining Centers
REQUIREMENTS
- High School graduate (Technical School graduate is a plus)
- Must be open to 2nd shift (4pm to 3am M-F or 4pm to 5am M-Th)
- Large Horizontal Boring and Vertical Mill experience
- Solid knowledge of reading and interpreting blue prints, performing set-ups and editing G & M code programs
- 3+ years prior CNC Machining experience machining medium to heavy plate fabrications
- Interpret packet of router, engineering drawings, blue prints, and other work instructions
- Program review, including debugging and problem solving
- Load feed mechanism by using an overhead crane to lift materials into position
- Mill, turn, drill, tap, de-bur, saw, and sand fabrications
- Verify settings by measures, marks, and scribe dimensions and reference points on first-run part
- Clean and perform inspections of the first-run part, machines, and tooling
- Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines as necessary to machine parts as required
- Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed and depth, and angle of cut, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control according to guidelines
- Troubleshoot malfunctions or resolve issues as required
- Perform routine maintenance on machines as required
- Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications

REQUIREMENTS
Must have a high school education or GED.
Associates Degree or Technical College Certificate is preferred.
Seeking someone with previous experience doing fire alarm protection design.
Must be knowledgeable of NFPA and building codes.
MS Office (word, excel, outlook) & general PC skills & willing to learn 3D MEP software.
NICET certification is a plus.
