Professional Surveyor – Youngstown, Ohio – JOB #26-00001
Salary Range: $80K to $100K – Permanent Position / Benefits
DESCRIPTION:
Youngstown, Ohio area Surveying and Engineering Firm seeks to hire a Professional Surveyor who can work in the field and in the office to complete surveying and mapping projects throughout Ohio.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Registration as an Ohio Professional Surveyor
- Direct experience with Topographic / Boundary Surveys and Right of Way Plans
- Experience with ODOT Surveying and Mapping Specifications
- Prequalification as an ODOT Right of Way Designer and/or Reviewer
- Ability to prepare, review, adhere to project budgets, schedules
- Seeking candidates that have good organizational & time management skills
- Experience with one or all: GNSS, Robotic Total Stations, Terrestrial Scanners, data collectors, automatic levels, drones
- Proper care, maintenance, calibration of field equipment
- Use of computer systems and software including: MS Office, Word, Excel, Trimble Business Center, Open Roads Designer. (Civil 3D optional)
- Experience researching property, road records, chain of title, easements
- Ability to determine alignments and property boundaries by resolving field evidence and record documents
- Preparation of legal descriptions, closure reports
- Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving history
- Occasional overnight travel may be required
